This isn’t merely a cosmetic refresh; the Aero Pack represents a targeted evolution, channeling the relentless pursuit of speed and precision honed by Gazoo Racing in the world of rallying and circuit racing. It’s built to maximize the Yaris’s potential in demanding conditions, retaining its core DNA of intense, driver-focused performance.

The heart of the Aero Pack lies in a suite of six aerodynamic enhancements. These aren’t just about aesthetics; they’re meticulously engineered to improve stability, both in high-speed corners and on straights, while simultaneously boosting cooling efficiency. The most immediately striking element is the prominent, intake-equipped bonnet – a direct carryover from the Yaris GRMN, effectively channeling vital airflow to the engine bay and significantly increasing heat dissipation, particularly at elevated speeds.

A redesigned front splitter aggressively increases downforce, minimizing lift at the front axle and dramatically enhancing steering response. Then there's the adjustable rear wing, offering a crucial layer of configurability – allowing drivers to fine-tune aerodynamic load based on whether they’re tackling a track day or navigating a winding road. Even the underbody has been optimized with a fuel tank cover inspired by the Super Taikyu racing series, further streamlining airflow and enhancing the car’s overall aerodynamic profile.

But the changes aren't limited to the exterior. Inside, the Aero Pack introduces a vertically mounted handbrake lever, echoing the design of the GR Yaris Rally1 and Rally2 cars, reinforcing the model’s radical sporting intent. Smaller steering wheel dimensions and suspension and steering tweaks further refine the driving experience.

Available in two trims – the RZ with forged wheels and the Aero Pack – the GR Yaris starts at €46,250 and €51,250 respectively, both equipped with a responsive six-speed manual transmission. Toyota’s commitment to delivering a genuinely engaging and potent driving experience is clear.

Price: From €46,250 (RZ with Forged Wheels) to €51,250 (RZ with Aero Pack)

Engine: 1.6L Turbocharged 3-cylinder, 300hp, 400nm of torque

Transmission: 6-speed Manual

Verdict: The GR Yaris Aero Pack isn't just an upgrade; it's a focused declaration of intent. It’s a weaponized Yaris, ready to carve up circuits and ignite the passion of any driving enthusiast. Simply put, Toyota’s delivering what the hardcore community has been demanding.
