Mercedes-Benz Unveils Redesigned 2027 C-Class
Mercedes-Benz is continuing development on a key model within its lineup, revealing a significant redesign of the C-Class slated for 2027. This comprehensive overhaul, following the recent introduction of the all-electric C-Class, marks a complete renewal of the company’s best-selling vehicle range.
A Complete Redesign Rooted in History
The redesigned C-Class incorporates both exterior and interior changes while maintaining the design cues established since the model's original launch in 1982. Mercedes-Benz aimed to respect the brand’s heritage while introducing substantial improvements in driving experience, comfort, and technology.

New Powertrain Options and Technology
Notable powertrain updates include a plug-in hybrid option featuring a 395 horsepower gasoline engine and an electric range of 100 kilometers. The new generation C-Class features a refined front and rear design, including a new grille integrated with a black trim connecting to the headlights, which now feature a star-shaped light signature, mirrored in the rear lights. The model also boasts two new exterior colors and two new wheel designs ranging from 17 to 19 inches.

Executive Commentary on the New Design
Mathias Geisen, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Sales and Customer Experience, commented on the new design, stating, "The new C-Class demonstrates that continuity and innovation are not mutually exclusive. With its sporty elegance, its electrified drive trains and intelligent support powered by MB.OS, it offers what drivers really need: proven reliability and innovation that adds real value in everyday life. Thus, a family classic becomes a modern companion."
