Mclaren p1 gt by lanzante set for auction, estimated at €2.65-3.05 million
British supercar specialist Lanzante has created a street-legal version of the track-focused McLaren P1 GTR, and now the third of only four examples is headed to auction.

Elusive track cars get the lanzante treatment
For enthusiasts who crave the thrill of a racetrack car but can't always access the circuit, Lanzante offers a solution. The company, known for its bespoke creations like the Porsche 911 TAG Turbo, has transformed the P1 GTR into a road-legal variant called the P1 GT.
Originally unveiled in 2014, the P1 GT retains the P1 GTR's potent hybrid powertrain, which combines a 3.8-liter V8 engine with an electric motor for a combined output of over 1,000 horsepower. However, it also gains some comforts for everyday driving, including more supportive seats, carpets, air conditioning, and electric windows.
One of the four P1 GTs produced, this 2014 example boasts a sleek black carbon fiber body and silver-finished five-spoke alloy wheels. Its interior features exposed carbon fiber elements, including the dashboard, center console, and steering wheel.
With just 8,825 miles on the clock, this P1 GT is an extremely rare opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike. RM Sotheby's will auction the car during Monterey Car Week, with an estimated price range of €2.65-3.05 million.
