Kia EV2 Review: Compact and Practical Electric
The Kia EV2 offers a smart, rather than spectacular, recipe: a compact size, well-utilized interior, and a reasonable battery. It delivers 147 hp and a WLTP range of 308 kilometers.
Exterior and Dimensions
Measuring 4.06 meters long, 1.80 meters wide, and 1.575 meters high, the EV2 has a 2.565-meter wheelbase. Its squared-off design makes it appear more substantial than its dimensions suggest. The vertical front fascia and features like the Star Map lighting and defined wheel arches contribute to its urban electric SUV aesthetic.

Interior and Features
Inside, the EV2 is well-organized and better resolved than many similarly sized electric vehicles. It features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch multimedia screen, and a 5.3-inch display for climate control. Notable features include physical controls for key functions, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, remote software updates, heated front seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, keyless entry, a 100W USB-C port, and a 3.6 kW 220V outlet.

Space and Configuration
The EV2 excels in space. Large doors facilitate access, and there's ample legroom for front passengers. The rear also offers good legroom, along with dedicated air vents. A particularly useful feature is the option for a three-seat rear configuration with a fixed bench or a two-seat configuration with a sliding longitudinal bench, offering flexibility for passengers and luggage.

Cargo Capacity
The main trunk offers 362 liters and expands to 1,201 liters.
