Quick charging capabilities allow for a 10-80% charge in just 30 minutes. This makes it a compelling option for taxi drivers primarily operating within the city center.
Torres hev: hybrid versatility for extended ranges
For taxi drivers who frequently operate outside the city, the Torres HEV offers a more versatile solution. Its self-charging hybrid system utilizes a 1.5 turbo engine (150 hp) combined with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 204 hp. The HEV can operate in electric mode up to 94% of the time in urban settings, contributing to improved fuel efficiency. It’s priced competitively, starting at €23,500 + VAT, with a slightly shorter warranty period.
Pricing and warranty details
The KGM Torres EVX starts at €26,500 + VAT and comes with a 7-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty and a 10-year or 1 million km battery warranty. The Torres HEV starts at €23,500 + VAT with a 5-year or 100,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty. These extended warranties are particularly valuable for taxis, which accumulate higher mileage than typical passenger vehicles.
Shared features for comfort & functionality
Both the Torres EVX and Torres HEV share several features focused on driver comfort and practicality. They both feature a 12.3-inch dual-screen setup for the instrument cluster and infotainment system. The vehicles offer a generous 839-liter trunk capacity and a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance and safety technologies.
