Dodge viper's last hurrah: a legendary american muscle car
Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Stellantis' RAM and SRT divisions, has confirmed that the iconic Dodge Viper will not make a comeback, bringing an end to the supercar's legacy.

A legendary american muscle car
First introduced as a concept in 1989, the Viper entered production between 1991 and 1992, and its final model rolled off the assembly line in 2016. Although the Viper's demise can be attributed to factors like emissions regulations and sluggish sales, its true end came when engineers realized it would be impossible to fit airbags under the driver's ear, a requirement of new safety standards.
Despite this, Kuniskis remains proud of the Viper's analog driving experience and its ability to hold its own against European supercars.
