Chinese Brands Make a Strong Entrance into the European Market
Chinese automakers are making
a significant impact on the European market. Over recent years, these manufacturers have not only established a foothold but are offering models that rival traditional brands, often at significantly lower prices. The Jaecoo 8: A Compelling Example
A prime example is the new Jaecoo 8, a large SUV featuring an efficient plug-in hybrid powertrain with up to 134 kilometers of electric range. It's available in Spain for under €45,000. Specifically, you can purchase a brand-new Jaecoo 8 starting at €44,190, packed with technology, a motor exceeding 400 CV, and a DGT Zero Emissions environmental label.
Compared to the least expensive BMW X5 (starting at €97,200) currently available in Spain, the price difference reaches up to €53,000 – meaning the Chinese SUV costs less than half the price of the German model.

Jaecoo 8 Dimensions and Interior
The Jaecoo 8 is a segment E SUV with a body length of 4,820 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, and a height of 1,710 mm. It boasts a generous wheelbase of 2,893 mm and an interior available in both five- and seven-seat configurations.
